Hanky Panky: A Commercial

Square

“Perfect timing” is just how I would describe the opportunity to work with director/producer Tina Cesa Ward again – this time on a commercial for Hanky Panky – a women’s intimate apparel company.

As you might remember, in May I shot feature horror film, Love in the Time of Monsters with TBC Films then I rushed to New Jersey to prep for my wedding which happened on June 24th! During this crazy and amazing time, my then fiancé (now husband), Rob Gokee, and I attended BlogWorld in NYC as guest speakers and at the same time, Tina told me that she had a new project that she hoped I would be a part of. Since shooting would happen mid-July in Hoboken, NJ and I was easily able to extend my stay on the East Coast, of course I said yes.

I grew up in NJ so being close to my hometown and doing what I love was a blast! When you have the $ you can get anything done. And that’s just what we did. We were able to pull together a very talented team including a choreography team (since the spot is dance heavy). We shot for 2 days in 100 degree heat at a local lingerie boutique, Galatea Lingerie. The shop was amazing and the owner and staff a dream to work with. Hoboken Police took good care of us and besides a few unhappy pedestrians who we had to reroute around our crane, it was a successful shoot!

Post is done and so we will be sharing a link to the spot soon so you can take a look at what we created. I look forward to many more fun shoots like this one!
